Georgia Tech professors Alenka Zajic and Milos Prvulovic, committed both by research and marriage, have been studying how machines emit unseen, electromagnetic energy. They want to know more about how these devices are giving away key details of a computer’s activity.

As the 2015 president of the IEEE Computer Society, Tom Conte, professor in Georgia Tech’s Schools of Computer Science and Electrical & Computer Engineering, is leading a national initiative to rethink how computers compute.

A little over a year ago, Georgia Tech launched a first-of-its kind master’s degree in computer science. The program is taught entirely through Massive Open Online Courses, or MOOCs.
