Assistant Professor
Biography
Jonathon Giffin is an assistant professor. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 2006 where he was a distinguished fellow. Also at Wisconsin, he received his B.S. degree in mathematics in 2000 and his M.S. degree in computer science in 2002. Giffin’s research interests are in software security, operating system security, and attack analysis. His work builds upon techniques from program analysis, formal methods, and operating systems to retrofit security for insecure systems and software.
