Erkam Uzun is a second year PhD student working in the Institute for Information Security and Privacy under the supervision of Prof. Wenke Lee. His primary research area is the security of audio/visual authentication systems. Before joining to Georgia Tech, Erkam worked as a forensics researcher in New York University Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates for two years. He currently hold B.Sc. degrees in both Computer Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering and M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Turkey. He previously worked and published research papers in image recovery, audio content analysis, tamper and coding history detection, and wireless sensor networks.
