Elementary Student Weekend Workshops
The Institute for Computing Education (ICE) will offer a series of weekend computing workshops for 4th - 6th graders. Each workshop will be $25 per person. Each will have a maximum of 24 students. The workshop will take place in the College of Computing, room 345. The workshops run from 9:00am - 12:00pm.
Scratch and WeDosScratch - Interactive Storytelling. Storybook "apps" for the iPad feature sound, graphics, and animation to make stories engaging and fun! Students will use Scratch to create a short Interactive Story. In addition students will make Lego Creations with "We-Do" and connect them to the Scratch Animations.
